Saint Daniel Comboni, or even Daniele Comboni, (March 15, 1831 - October 10, 1881) was a Roman Catholic priest and saint from Italy, who was appointed Bishop in Africa.
Comboni was natural inside Brescia, Italy, in the unfortunate agrarian personal. He was a simply one of Eighter from decatur babies world health organization survived childhood. He participate in the First Vatican Council as the theologist of the Bishop of Veronthe, & convinced Lxx Bishops to sign a petition for the evangelisation of Central Africa.
Inside 1877, Comboni was named Bishop of Central Africthe, amidst a severe 2-biennial drought there resulting within several deaths from either starvation. A single season fallowing his eighth & go hike to Africa within 1880, he died of natural causes inside Khartoum.
He was canonized on October 5, 2003 by Pope John Paul II, as were Joseph Freinademetz and Arnold Janssen.
